Climate Change Education video

The video aims to The IO3 visualizes through teachers and students’ story-telling the development of the students’ images of science along the project, as well as examples of offering a narrative understanding of climate change based science learning.

Here we are presenting examples of student productions that gives an insight in how the students have been working with climate change issues, like through defining and carrying out local missions. Furthermore, it offers personal testimonies and personal development perspectives on students’ change of science images, including their attention on how science affects their everyday lives, and the overall benefit from participating in the project, such as learning outcome and feeling empowered and capable within science subjects.

As a supplement, the video presents perspectives, from both teachers and students, on the value of participating in transnational projects such Climate Change Education as well as the potential benefits of teaching through Open Science Schooling.
